 On Wednesday, February 8, 2012, at 10:00 a.m. in Room 2318 of the Rayburn House Office Building, the Committee on Science, Space, and Technology held a hearing entitled “Assessing America’s Nuclear Future – A Review of the Blue Ribbon Commission’s Report to the Secretary of Energy.” The purpose of this hearing was to examine the recommendations contained in the Blue Ribbon Commission on America’s Nuclear Future (BRC) Report to the Secretary of Energy, as well as broader science and technology issues associated with spent nuclear fuel management.
