ADVISORY: Government shutdown would force cancellation of April 11 hearing
ARLINGTON, VA, April 8, 2011 – If a federal-government shutdown is declared at midnight tonight, the Commission on Wartime Contracting in Iraq and Afghanistan will cancel its scheduled April 11 hearing on lessons from non-governmental organizations’ (NGOs) development work in Afghanistan.
The hearing is currently scheduled to begin at 9:30 a.m. Monday, April 11, in Room 216 of the Hart Senate Office Building in Washington, DC.
If a shutdown forces cancellation of the hearing, the Commission will attempt to reschedule the session and will issue a revised notice.
