Dear Mr. Frazier:

Thank you for sharing this ABSOLUTELY TRAGIC INFORMATION WITH ME.

I must say that plans to continue to use and make new atomic energy plants when we do not have a disposal plan for the very dangerous waste material that will last for tens of thousands of years is not only incredibly stupid but so irresponsible that the entire commission should be deeply ashamed of itself.  The disposal plan that you reference says we need a plan.  Who deliberately creates dangerous problems when there is no safe plan to deal with the known consequences.

3 new plants were given the go ahead for construction (one against the advice of the chairman of the committee) in GA and SC, and many are pushing to dispose of nuclear waste in western NC.

Why are you all deliberately putting the nation at risk and asking people who intelligently choose not to participate in this madness to take the obviously well known dangerous waste and put it in their backyard.

I pray for responsible action and for the hundred’s of generations who come after us that will have to deal with the consequences.

Sincerely,

Mark Hoch
