“Life-Line” introduces us to six individuals who have encountered unplanned conception in their lives. All of the participants love their children but would avoid teen pregnancy if given another chance. We are hopeful these stories will encourage students to think about both short and long term consequences of unplanned conception. If there is no sustainable support system in their world, they must consider this with every choice they make.
Professional commentary is provided throughout this documentary from Family Consumer Science teachers (FACS), the front line workers in parenting education. These teachers engage with students on a daily basis which gives them insight into the minds of today’s youth that should not be ignored. The world of child advocacy would be better served through a partnership with FACS teachers.
