Meeting Time: Thursday, December 4, 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. EST
The purpose of the meeting is for Commission members to meet with national and international researchers to obtain:
- A more in-depth understanding of the use of predictive analytics for identifying children at an increased risk for fatalities and near fatalities
- A research perspective on how current national data collection systems could be enhanced to better inform practice and policy
- Information about additional research that could lead to a better understanding of the issue of child abuse and neglect fatalities
