Transocean's ultra-deepwater drillship, Discoverer Clear Leader, recently sailed from the DSME shipyard at Okpo, South Korea, as the first of Transocean's five enhanced Enterprise-class newbuild drillships. Designed to drill wells 40,000 feet deep, including 12,000 feet of water depth, the Discoverer Clear Leader�has a five-year drilling contract with Chevron for operations in the U.S. Gulf of Mexico.
