Fishery Resource Disaster
Has a commercial fishery failure determination been made as a result of the Deepwater Horizon/BP oil spill?
Under section 312(a) of the Magnuson-Stevens Fishery Conservation and Management Act, the U.S. Department of Commerce declared a fishery resource disaster for affected fisheries in waters off Louisiana, Mississippi and Alabama on May 25, 2010.
