National Notices to Lessees and Operators (NTLs)

This page contains links to both National and Regional NTL's. Links to NTL's for all regions are also provided for your convenience.

	clarify, describe, or interpret regulation or OCS standards;
	provide guidelines on the implementation of a special lease stipulation or regional requirement;
	provide a better understanding of the scope and meaning of a regulation by explaining MMS interpretation of a requirement; or
	transmit administrative information such as current telephone listings and a change in MMS personnel or office addresses.

The archives contain a list of the inactive National Notices to Lessees and Operators (NTLs) for your reference. These NTLs have been superseded, expired, rescinded, or are no longer necessary.

Notices to Lessees have also been issued by MMS's Alaska Regional Office, Gulf of Mexico Regional Office and Pacific Regional Office.
