Overview
The Polistes Foundation, a 501-c-3 non-profit organization established in 2002 to support Discover Life.
It is now the legal umbrella and fiduciary of Discover Life, the International Center for Public Health
and Environmental Research (PHER), and the Proceedings of Life, a free, reviewed electronic publication.
The Polistes Foundation was awarded permanent standing by the I.R.S. in 2007.
It charges only 10% indirect costs on all funds that it handles, spending 90% on the research and education activities
of Discover Life, PHER, and our partners.
