Abstract:   Survey taken by the European Wildlife Disease Association (EWDA) of European countries' surveillance of wildlife health. Answers are based on self-evaluation and were submitted by 25 countries. Seven questions probe the surveillance system's size (e.g.personnel, cases), funding, examination techniques used, and record keeping presence. The 7-page report includes a map, graph and tables. Presented at the inaugural meeting of the EWDA (15 Oct 2009).
