NASA Dryden Innovative Partnerships Office The Dryden IPO provides benefit to the Nation by transferring NASA technologies to U.S. companies and academia, augmented with a complementary role of bringing exciting, innovative technology developed by others to support NASA mission requirements.

Small Business Innovation Research/ Small Business Technology Transfer (SBIR/STTR) Program Office: The Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) and Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) Programs were established by Congress to provide seed capital to assist American-owned small businesses to participate in U.S. federal agency research and development efforts. The Phase I award provides up to $100k and 6 months for SBIR and 12 months for STTR, which conducts a feasibility study of the new technology. The Phase II award provides up to $600K for both SBIR and STTR, which provides 24 months to develop a promising technology to a prototype.
