Montana judge hears arguments on moving megaloads through Missoula Co.
Last Friday, a Montana state district court judge heard arguments in a lawsuit filed by Missoula County and its three co-plaintiffs against the Montana Department of Transportation on allowing massive pieces of mining equipment to pass through the county on the route from Idaho's Port of Lewiston to Alberta, and the attorney for the DOT said the agency was prepared to redo the environmental assessment of the transportation plan if the court ordered it to do so.
