In the 2012 President's Budget Request, the
National Biological Information Infrastructure (NBII) is terminated. As a
result, the official NBII web site (www.nbii.gov) will be removed and all of the NBII social media accounts closed
by January 15, 2012. For more information, please refer to the NBII Program Termination page.
This community will be closed on November 1. To
stay abreast of new tools and research from the U.S. Geological Survey on the
topic of natural resources, we encourage you to join the UGSG community on
Facebook at http://www.facebook.com/GeologicalSurvey.

media channels you can follow to stay tuned.
