Clemson University Experimental Forest

The Fire and Fire Surrogate (FFS) study being conducted by the USDA Forest Service and cooperators at Clemson University's Experimental Forest is part of a national network of research sites examining the effects of fuel reduction techniques on ecosystem processes.  This web site provides information about the location, experimental design, and progress of research for the FFS Southeastern Piedmont study site. The intent of this site is to inform the public about the importance of this research and to encourage interested persons to contact the site manager.
