MOVING KNOWLEDGE TO ACTION

Water Resources - Water resource management is a key element of sustainable development.  Finite amounts of both surface and ground water combined with a growing population require careful management and planning with foresight.  Monitoring, spatial and temporal analysis, modeling water management scenarios and statistical data development of ground and surface water quality and quantity are all ways that HARC addresses the water resources aspect of sustainable development.

Developing a Texas Groundwater Monitoring Strategy

HARC has completed a 2006-07 project with the Texas Groundwater Protection Committee (TGPC) to develop a proposed Texas Groundwater Monitoring Strategy.
