The Highly Pathogenic Early Detection Data System (HEDDS) is a national database that will contain Asian H5N1 Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza data collected for survelliance efforts. It can be used by all agencies, organizations, and policy makers.

The Seabird Ecological Assessment Network (SEANET) is a collaborative project of over 50 non-profit organizations and agencies including WDIN. SEANET volunteers monitor stretches of coastline collecting data on bird mortality, live birds, and beach conditions.

The Wildlife Information Network (WIN), a veterinary science-based organization, works to provide information on the health and management of free-ranging and captive animals and emerging infectious diseases to wildlife professionals and decision-makers worldwide. To assist with this goal, they developed Wildpro, an Electronic Encyclopedia and Library.
