The goal of the Fire History Analysis and Exploration System (FHAES) project is to enhance and/or redevelop components of the FHX2 software program, developed by Henri Grissino-Mayer, so that they are free, user-friendly, and easily accessible to a broad range of users on the Internet. The FHAES website is hosted by the Fire Research and Management Exchange System (FRAMES) and managed by the National Climatic Data Center's Paleoclimatology Branch.
