Database

The Colorado State University Herbarium has a database for its collection, and at present we have approximately 60,000 specimens databased. This database is especially useful for our herbarium management as well as for studies on the status and conservation of rare species, and for systematic, floristic, and ecological research.

You can search our database separately or together with almost 20 other herbaria in New Mexico, Arizona, Utah, and California at SEINet (Southwest Environmental Information Network).  Distribution maps and dynamic checklists are available on SEINet.
