The National Biological Information Infrastructure (NBII) program's thematic scope is broad and similarly, the plant sciences have very broad overlap with other fields of biological and scientific study. Botany and plant-related activities are implemented, coordinated, and promoted by the NBII Botany Project and NBII regional nodes.
