(Senator Mark) Begich Welcomes Senators for Climate Change Tour: Impacts of Climate Change, New Energy Technology on Itinerary (Aug 24, 2009)
Senator Mark Begich.
U.S. Senator Mark Begich will host four other U.S. senators as part of a Climate Change tour of Alaska, in the last weekend of August. The senators will see first-hand the impacts of climate change on Alaska, including forests damaged by invasive species; as well as new energy technology being used in the state. Sen. Begich recently introduced a package of seven bills dealing with the impacts of climate change in America's Arctic - Alaska.
