Workshop Guide

The Groundwater Foundation's Source Water Assessment and Protection Workshop Guide provides local leaders and community members with tools to educate and motivate other community members to get involved in the source water protection process.

The guide includes detailed information about a number of source water protection strategies as well as additional information about areas where the Safe Drinking Water Act (SDWA) and Clean Water Act (CWA) intersect, and techniques to evaluate the workshop and the source water protection activities that follow.  The guide includes everything you need to run your own informational workshop.

The guide has been developed so that anyone with an interest in groundwater, surface water, and/or drinking water quality and quantity can use the guide, overheads, and handouts to present the guide material.
