This website allows you to see a list of species found in 8 different marshes in the Houston, Texas area. To view a marsh select it on the map or in the list on the left side of the screen. Once selected, various locations inside that particular marsh are displayed. You can then click on each of those points to bring up a list of species found and a few other variables.

Each location has one of three different colors depending on the classification. The options are Native (), Impacted (), and Restored ().

You can navigate around the map by clicking and dragging with your mouse. You can also zoom in using your mouse wheel or using the zoom control on the top left side of the map.

Additional help information about the map is available under the welcome section on the left.

This website uses Google Maps to display pictures of various restored and native marshes found around the Houston area and a list of plant species found at each site. If you've used Google Maps before, you can use this page just like you use Google Maps. If you haven't used Google Maps before, here are some tips:
