Gulfstream III (N803)
11.28.11
The G-III is a cost-effective, multi-engine "companion proficiency trainer" aircraft. Its avionics, airframe complexity, and flight characteristics are consistent with Dryden's large science research and test aircraft. This platform is capable of carrying a variety of internal rack-mounted experiments at higher speeds which is more representative of larger aircraft. It is a true dual cockpit. Its handling qualities are more representative of larger aircraft at higher speeds.
