Red Knot Status Assessment Report
The recently released update in the status of rufa Red Knots, authored by experts from three nations, reports a sharp decline in the number of knots wintering in Tierra del Fuego, and also finds that there has been no evidence of recovery of horseshoe crabs. Read the report here.

Manomet Study of Woody Biomass Energy Released
Manomet and its partners have released the results of a six-month study to better understand the implications of using wood for energy in Massachusetts, titled “Biomass Sustainability and Carbon Policy Study.” The study was conducted for the Massachusetts Department of Energy Resources.
