The NBII Bird Conservation Node supports bird conservation by promoting increased online access to data and information resources relevant to management and conservation of bird populations and their habitats across North America. Over the years, the Node has provided financial and technical support to projects that increase timely availability of datasets used to assess status and trends of bird populations and their habitats, consolidate dispersed data and information into common data structures and formats, and provide tools/applications that enhance exploration and understanding of data by users.

Supported Projects:

Bird and Habitat Databases

Standards, Protocols, and Data Sharing Methods
