Searchable Databases

Searchable databases are available for accessing information relevant to fishes and other aquatic organisms, invasive plants, and water quality.  Accessible from the navigation menu to the left are the following databases:

  • Aquatic Biota Survey Database - fish bio-inventory monitoring data and information from the Upper Little Tennessee River.

  • Regional Invasive Plants Database - search data sets on 13 regional invasive plants.

  • Southern Appalachian Volunteer Environmental Monitoring (SAVEM) Invasive Plants Database - search invasive plant data relevant to the Great Smoky Mountains, Nantahala, Hot Springs, and Mount Rogers areas of the Appalachian range. 

  • Southern Appalachian Volunteer Environmental Monitoring (SAVEM) Water Quality Database - view macroinvertebrates/benthic data and water chemistry data for the Upper Holston, Watauga, and Upper Nolichucky river watersheds.
