Herbarium
The USC Upstate Herbarium is open to the public by appointment; it houses 18,000 labeled and mounted specimens of plant native to the Upstate and nearby areas. Please contact Dr. Montgomery to schedule a time to visit.
Plant identification services are available. Please contact Dr. Montgomery beforehand to discuss whether collection of a specimen is necessary or desirable, and if so, how to collect it in a manner that preserves its features for identification.
