The HWA bibliography database covers publications related to hemlock and hemlock pests.
It was developed by the USDA Forest Service and the Virginia Polytechnic Institute & State University.
Warren T. Mays of VPI (deceased) was credited for conducting the majority of literature searches, assigning keywords,
and compiling the abstracts.
The database can be searched by author, title, and/or keyword. Users can also choose to scroll
through all publications if preferred. Keywords have been extracted from the abstracts, titles, or
in some cases, assigned if the paper happens to cover a related topic not necessarily found in the title
or abstract. Papers listed in this database include journals, proceedings, dissertations, thesis, book chapters, and U.S. government publications.
