Weed database

The database contains information on many of New Zealand's important weed species. New weeds are being added all the time. If the weed you were wanting isn't listed, let us know and we'll make every effort to add it. For 283.311 students and general members of the New Zealand public, simply click on the "Submit" button below for a list of available weeds. For 283.101 (formerly 171.102) and 285.201 (formerly 171.284) students, you can limit the list of weeds to those relevant to your course by clicking on the "Advanced Search" button then following instructions on the next page. Apologies that only the old numbers of these papers are present, something that can't be changed.  For overseas visitors wanting to use botanical names instead of New Zealand common names, change "Common Name" to "Genus" or "Family" before clicking the "Submit" button.  Or, if you want to see the weeds as a series of thumb-nails, click here instead.
