"Inventorying species today to enable better management tomorrow"
The Colorado Plateau ATBI project is an emerging collaboration among regional universities, the National Park Service, the Bureau of Land Management, and the USGS, to inventory all taxa in national parks and monuments, including invertebrates, fungi, algae, lichens, and microbes. These inventories will provide the basis for developing conservation management plans that will help preserve our national biodiversity.
