Popular trails less crowded this Labor Day

HUNTER, N.Y. - Hiking trails that would normally be very popular on Labor Day, are closed until further notice because of the wet weather.

That includes major portions of the Kaaterskill Falls Trail in Greene County, and the Appalachian Trail and Long Trail in Vermont.

On a normal Labor Day, those trails would be the destination of many outdoor enthusiasts.
