Sandhill Crane Season will open Saturday December 17th 2011. The season will remain open through January 15th, 2012 or until the 400 bird quota limit is reached. Hunters are required to check the season status DAILY before hunting by accessing the department’s website at FW.KY.GOV or calling a toll-free number 1-800-858-1549.
