The A2I-L list is a forum for discussion of issues relating to the "Alternatives to Invasives" (A2I) program of the Hawaiian Ecosystems at Risk project (HEAR). The purpose of the A2I program is to provide educational materials to allow landscapers, nurseries, and the general public to understand the problems caused by invasive horticultural plant species in Hawaii, and to provide them with less-invasive alternatives to known or suspected invasive species which might otherwise be used in landscape settings. More information about the A2I project is available online at http://www.hear.org/alternativestoinvasives/. [ PUBLIC ]
