September 8 - 9, 2011
The Ritz Carlton Hotel | New Orleans, LAA recent government report from President Obama's National Export Initiative, stated that “wood pellets represent a significant export market opportunity for the U.S. biomass industry.” So significant, in fact, that
the USDA will “expand its annual reports on biofuels to include analysis on biomass in the form of wood
pellets and wood chips...providing U.S. industry and policymakers with much-needed information on the sector’s growth, export opportunities in emerging markets, and policy updates.”
In response to this growing opportunity, the North American Biomass Pellet Export Conference will provide insight and information on all aspects of wood pellet exporting, including market, legal, logistics and financial issues. The conference will also provide significant networking opportunities for pellet producers, European utilities, supply chain consultants, international logistics companies, renewable energy lenders, investors, loggers, attorneys and researchers.
Group rates have been secured for all attendees who book their rooms by August 8, 2011. Table-top exhibit
space is available on a first-come, first-serve basis and multiple sponsorship opportunities exist.
