Grants.gov is a central storehouse for information on over 1,000 grant programs and provides access to approximately $500 billion in annual awards. Site is searchable and contains summary information on all federal funding opportunities with links to the full announcements. Users can search announcements by topic, funding agency, and date, as well as subscribe to an email notification service based on these parameters.

The Wildlife Habitat Incentives Program (WHIP) is a voluntary program for people who want to develop and improve wildlife habitat primarily on private land. Through WHIP, USDA's Natural Resources Conservation Service provides technical and financial assistance to establish and improve fish and wildlife habitat. One WHIP priority is reducing the impacts of invasive species on wildlife habitats. Applications are accepted by NRCS on a continuous basis throughout the year with cutoff dates to evaluate, rank, prioritize and select applicants.

The Pesticide Environmental Stewardship Program (PESP) provides grant funding to promote Integrated Pest Management (IPM) practices.

Strategic Agricultural Initiative
Environmental Protection Agency.
The Strategic Agricultural Initiative (SAI) promotes transition to reduced-risk pest management practices in agriculture to protect human health and the environment. SAI seeks to recognize the economic viability, social equity, and environmental risk reduction associated with its activities to assist in Food Quality Protection Act implementation though an extensive and effective communication and partnership effort with regional pesticide user, teacher and researcher communities. The grants are awarded by Region; see the SAI Web site for contact information, applications and deadlines.

Tribal Pesticide Program Council

The Tribal pesticide Program Council (TPPC) is a forum for tribal pesticide and environmental officials to raise pesticide program implementation issues to EPA, offer input on national pesticide policy that affects tribes, offer a network for tribal pesticide officials to share information, and promote and enhance tribal pesticide program development.
