Silver and Largescale Silver Carp Importation and Transport Banned (Jul 10, 2007)

The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service will add silver and large-scale silver carp as injurious. Such a listing prohibits the importation and interstate transportation of live silver and large-scale silver carp. The final rule under the injurious wildlife provisions of the Lacey Act will become effective on Aug 9, 2007.
