The Prisons Foundation is a division of the Safe Streets Arts Foundation which also incorporates the Victims Foundation.

Mr. Dye is a prolific artist whose "outsider art" is highly sought by collectors. Anthony's style is highly praised for its restrained detail, balanced use of objects and bombastic metaphors and color-play; all of which is used to create unusual themes. A real-life artistic genius, Anthony commands the awe and respect of both artists, collectors and justice advocates (all while creating art behind bars!). Mr Dye works closely with the Prisons Foundation.

-2009 KENNEDY CENTER EVENT PROMISES TO BE HUGE-
This year's program promises to be even bigger and better and will feature an introduction written specifically for the event by renowned activist Mumia Abu Jamal!
Our deadline for submissions has passed and we appreciate the hundreds of scripts, plays and theatrical sketches we received.
Our Review Committee is now in the final stages of selecting works for the program.
The "From Prison to the Stage" Program attracts an international audience and wide press coverage, and this year we have sent an invitation to First Lady
Michelle Obama to join us along with a long list of distinguished guests which includes familiar civil rights activists, prison reform advocates and more than a few surprise guests.
The Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts each year on Labor Day
weekend hosts the Page-To-Stage Festival, of which our
