September 12, 2012- Late last month, Director Watson returned to the Chukchi Sea and met with Alaska's North Slope Borough Mayor Charlotte Brower along with local Coast Guard representatives and members of the Ocean Energy Safety Advisory Committee (OESC).
September 12, 2012- On his last trip to Anchorage, Director Watson visited the Alaska Native Science and Engineering Program (ANSEP) at the University of Alaska at Anchorage. While there, he met with Mike Bourdukofsky, the program’s regional director.
September 5, 2012- Last week, members of the Ocean Energy Safety Advisory Committee held their fifth meeting, this one in Anchorage, Alaska. The committee previously held meetings in Washington (twice), Houston and New Orleans.
