COPD: Learn More Breathe Better
The barbecue capital of the world gets the word on COPD.
On October 24, 2009, Country Conquers COPD™ headed to Lexington, North Carolina for the 26th Annual Barbecue Festival. People were as hungry to learn about COPD as to sample that great barbecue.

More than 100,000 people turned out to enjoy the festivities in Lexington. From dozens of chefs vying for best barbecue bragging rights to games, live music and crafts, everyone had a great time.

It was a busy day at the Country Conquers COPD booth as more than 2,000 people stopped by to talk with lung health experts and receive free screenings thanks to the COPD Foundation and North Carolina Society for Respiratory Care.
