COPD: Learn More Breathe Better
State Fair Fun and Healthy Lungs!
On September 3-5th Country Conquers COPD traveled to the Maryland State Fair in Timonium, Maryland to talk to fairgoers about COPD.
Family fun for everyone

Marylanders experienced an eclectic range of entertainment in Timonium over Labor Day Weekend — from the vibrant sounds of the US Navy Band, to artists such as Blake Shelton and All Time Low, to bull riding, jousting competitions, and the Swifty Swine Racing Pigs. The Maryland State Fair truly offered something for kids of all ages. Plus, many fairgoers also took some time out to stop by the Country Conquers COPD Tent learn more about COPD.

And a healthy dose of COPD information

Nearly 4,000 people stopped by the COPD tent to learn about the signs and symptoms of COPD, and how important early diagnosis and treatment is to breathing better. Plus, more than 315 were able to take advantage of free spirometry testing being conducted onsite.

We send out our special thanks to the COPD Foundation and the respiratory therapists from John Hopkins Hospital, St. Agnes Hospital and Suburban Hospital who helped make this event a success.
