Changes in Book Retrieval and Circulation Desk Hours
Main Reading Room: Monday - Friday beginning September 4, 2012
Beginning September 4, 2012, requests for materials located in the General Collection will be processed and delivered to the Circulation Desk between 10:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. (last request entered at 12 noon) and 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. (last request entered at 4:00 p.m.)
You may enter your stack requests into LocatorPlus at any time between 8:30 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.; but retrieval and delivery will be offered only during the hours as stated above.
The Circulation Desk will be staffed from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. If you need assistance between 12:30 p.m. to 2:00 p.m., please see the staff at either the Reference Desk or the Patron Registration Desk.
The Reading Room hours are not changing. Access to all online resources, assistance with wireless, reference, and photocopying and printing services remain the same.
These changes are being made because of significant decreases in demand for stack retrieval, as well as reduced levels of staffing. We want to give you the best possible service for stack retrieval.
