Bundled Payments for Care Improvement Models 2-4 Online Application Information

The Center for Medicare and Medicaid (CMMI) is pleased to announce that the Bundled Payments for Care Improvement Initiative (BPCI) Online Application Portal is now available for use by applicants.

To access the BPCI online application portal

Fill out a License Request Form to gain access to the online application portal. PLEASE NOTE: licenses will only be granted to organizations that submitted or appeared on a Letter of Intent for Models 2-4 of BPCI. These Letters of Intent were due on November 4, 2011.

Once you visit the License Request Website, please be sure to read the instructions prior to completing the license request. Some of the information requested there is intended to allow CMS to validate that your organization submitted a Letter of Intent or appeared as a Bundled Payment participating organization (BPPO) on another organization’s Letter of Intent for Models 2-4.

After completing the License Request Form, you’ll receive an email with information on how to log-in to the online application portal. All applications for Models 2-4 of BPCI are due by Thursday, June 28, 2012, at 5:00 PM EDT.

The following should not request a license

If you are a Bundled Payment participating organization (BPPO) in partnership with another organization, you do not need to access the online application portal and therefore do not need to request a license.

If you are a designated awardee/awardee convener completing a sub-proposal with a facilitator convener, you do not need to request a license. Your facilitator convener should be sending you information on how to complete your sub-proposal after they have access to the online application portal.
