I’m pleased to announce that the Town of North Hempstead has been awarded more than $1.2 million from FEMA. The money will be used to cover the cost of clean-up from Hurricane Irene. After the hurricane pounced our area last year, the Town did an outstanding job in collecting and disposing the debris that the storm left behind.
