Note: The form used for self-certifying compliance with the U.S.-EU Safe Harbor Framework is identical to that used for self-certifying compliance with the U.S.-Swiss Safe Harbor Framework; therefore, an organization may self-certify to one or both of the Safe Harbor Frameworks when self-certifying via the Safe Harbor website. When organization selects “Switzerland” as a country from which it receives personal data (i.e. whether it specifically ticked the box corresponding to “Switzerland” or used the “All” function), it is self-certifying compliance with the U.S.-Swiss Safe Harbor Framework. The relevant processing fees cover both Safe Harbor Frameworks; therefore, an organization self-certifying for the first time to both Safe Harbor Frameworks must only remit $200.00 and an organization reaffirming its commitment to both Safe Harbor Frameworks must only remit $100.00.
