On September 25, 2011, at approximately 1:45 a.m., 29-year-old Eugene Jesse Stevens was struck by a vehicle and subsequently killed while walking along Highway 2 on the Blackfeet Reservation in Montana. Stevens had abandoned his vehicle along the westbound lane of Highway 2 approximately a half mile east of the scene, and had begun walking westbound between Browning, Montana and East Glacier, Montana when he was hit by the unknown vehicle. The driver did not stop, and is also thought to have been heading westbound on Highway 2.
