Frustrated

05/20/2012 04:05:09

I am a medical professional who was told by a neurologist to get tested for Lupus because I had a butterfly rash across the cheeks of my face. ANA test came back negative. 4 years later I get scabs in my hair and my hair fall out. I have horrible headaches, forced to wear wigs to cover bald spots, stabbing pains in my feet, pain in my legs and shoulder, and diagnosed with fibromyalgia. My second ANA test came back positive, but full lupus panel was negative. I'm frustarted. My oldest sister died from lupus. Is anyone out there frustrated? Does anyone know of another illness in which you can get a butterfly rash?
