do i have lupue

i went to the doctor and she gave me a blood test and it said i have lupus...i been having bad..bad back pain my feet swell up all the time ..i have pains in my head.i have dry eyes feels like sand is in them..my neck hurts at times i have pains and my elbows my fingers swell all the time and when i go to the doctor the pain is gone and they don't believe me and that is funny ..i need to know this has been going for years..

Have same things, I have had surgery to remove dry eye scar.backpain were explained as ostiopenia and low d vitamin. Had my first blood test positive for inflamation. Finally blood test for hand surgery lupus showed up. Test done yearly waiting for other systems to show to say yes I have it? I heal very slowly. Two other family members had blood test positive for lupus no help given!

If at all possible, try to get treatment by doctors at a teaching hospital. All my doctors - rheumatologist, pulmonologist, cardiologist, and pain management doctor - comprise my health care "team" at New York University Langone Medical Center. I am getting the best care by the best of the best doctors who listen, believe, and take my now multiple conditions very seriously, and do so with the highest level of compassion.
