The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), Office of Information Products and Data Analysis (OIPDA), is pleased to present our journal, Medicare & Medicaid Research Review (MMRR), an authoritative medium for disseminating high-quality and relevant research to a wide audience of Medicare, Medicaid, and Children's Health Insurance stakeholders.

Medicare & Medicaid Research Review is a peer-reviewed, online journal reporting data and research that informs current and future directions of the Medicare, Medicaid, and Children's Health Insurance programs.  The journal seeks to examine and evaluate health care coverage, quality and access to care for beneficiaries, and payment for health services.

Medicare & Medicaid Research Review will publish articles throughout the year on a continuous basis, a flexibility possible in an online format. Once a manuscript has been peer reviewed, accepted, edited, and approved, MMRR will make the article available online for download and citation immediately, thereby reducing the time from research to publication. In addition to a general call for papers addressing the full scope of the journal (see below), MMRR will issue specific calls for papers on topics of more specific interest. These specific topics will also be used to provide theme pages online that bring together published research on a given topic, regardless of publication date, in order for the reader to follow specific research questions with ease.

Copyright and Subscription Information

All published material appearing in MMRR is in the public domain and may be reproduced or copied without permission; however, citation to source is appreciated. There will be no subscription or author publishing fee for MMRR.
