Office of Disease Prevention and Health Promotion

The Office of Disease Prevention and Health Promotion (ODPHP), part of the Office of the Assistant Secretary for Health, provides leadership, coordination, and policy development for public health and prevention activities. Among its activities, ODPHP maintains healthfinder.gov, a U.S. Government website offering the public information and tools about a variety of health topics, including HIV/AIDS. ODPHP also manages Healthy People 2020, which provides science-based, 10-year national objectives for improving the health of all Americans. Among the objectives are 18 related to HIV.
