Telecommunications and Electronic and Information Technology Advisory Committee (TEITAC) |
The Board has organized the Telecommunications and Electronic and Information Technology Advisory Committee, TEITAC to review its standards and guidelines and to recommend changes. The committee’s membership includes representatives from industry, disability groups, standard-setting bodies in the U.S. and abroad, and government agencies, among others. Members were selected from applications received in response to a Board notice published in April. The committee’s first meeting was held on September 27 – 29 at the National Science Foundation in Arlington, Virginia. The committee’s second meeting was held on November 8th and 9th at the U.S. Department of Education, Potomac Center Plaza South in Washington, DC. The committee’s third meeting was held February 6-8, 2007 at the Transportation Security Administration in Arlington, Virginia.
